awesome thread... All these pics give me motivation to get off my ass and go do work. I spend yesterday 4 linking and c notching my 53.

 

i have a 53 chevy sedan i been workin on it on and off i put a 54 nose and up grade the susp. i want to do the body i hate bonbo and crappy work, i hope get to it soon

 

my 54 sold to get the j all org 54k miles one repaint last time i saw it was on ebay with tune port motor( i was sick they cut it up) i drove it for 2 years nicest org car i ever had

Just lowering spindles up front and bagged in the rear with a notch and one leaf spring. The previous owner did the work and I hate it I'm going to tear it apart soon here and do it right just enjoying cruising for a bit.

My '54

 

Heres a little up date on my 53 chevy its bagged now and on some firestone 670s so close from being back on the road im hoping by summer time. fingers crosses

 

How long have you owned that? I'm pretty sure I have a Rod & Custom from the 1990s with a picture of that car at a show?

 

Chopped 54 Hard Top my favorite all time custom. I wanted to do one so bad but couldn't find one so I ended up with my 52 for now. Still on the look out for that ever elusive 54 HT.
Great thread guys keep'm comeing.

The first 3 are the reason I own one and the last one is my (in progress) heap...maybe 1 day I will enter their atmosphere!!

The first one is last year at this time, right after i bought it. Non-running due to a lot of little mechanical problems but after fixing all those little issues (carb, starter, tune-up, new fuel pump, and other stuff I forget) it's running. The second shows the little bit of progress made so far. Still a ways to go.
