Im more concerned with getting a rwc than the rta at this point but hey its HUDSON :).... what hassels did you have ?

I am gonna of chop her soon as I have plates and rego your conversion is what inspired the idea. Man that car is sweet, I will definitely keep it in mind when I'm ready to cut into her.

I do need some grille work anybody you can recommend in brisbane, im orginally from down south ?

You have no idea ..... when i brought the car the guy actually had lost the title so i had to wait another 4 week before he get copy so I could get it on the boat... but it gave him the time to locate all the recipts, manual & photos dating back to the early sixties

Looks great mate, glad to see it finally arrived.

No doubt you'll have fun cruisin once you get some rego.

Someone made the grill on my old Hudson out of EK Holden bumper overriders.

You saw the grill that I made out of corvette teeth. You should think of something like that or maybe 54 Chevy teeth. A Desoto grill would be nice but they are too expensive and hard to find.

    Cheers

Yeah it was a bit of a mess about but sorted in the end.

Hell yes ... Compliance on Tuesday , get somebody to go over it for the rwc and then cross my fingers at the rta

I've actually been trolling old aussie cars to get some ideas , I think u maybe onto something with that don't get me wrong if I could get my hands on old 50's chev surround I'd snap it up.

I dig those Hudsons, yours looks cool. I always wanted one. Your lucky it arrived in good shape.I am fixing a Z 28 that was shipped from Hawaii to Ca. when arrived ,huge dents on the roof and front end . looks like a large steel bar dropped on it then dragged over it. Owner is pissed having to deal with it.
