Hello all, My names Joe. Got me a new project. Gonna need lots of help with this one. I've owned 1st. gen. novas. for a long time. Got a lot to learn with this project. It's a 1931 chevy 5 window coupe with rumble seat.

Looks like a nice start. Nearly impossible to find an old Chevy builder these days, especially a complete one.

Nice car - don't think many Chevys survived from the 30s. What are your plans for it?

Got to fix the interior, a dent or two, and some diff. wheels. Gonna leave the 6 in it and trans. runs great.

Cool car. I would spend some time checkin' something like that with original 6 in it! I love it when a car like yours get all the attention and a pro street next spot over is ignored.

  10. Check the mechanicals, drive and have fun. Work in progress. Lucky man.

Really Cool Car !!! Sold my 31 Chevy 2-door Sedan over a year ago (health issues) but still have a 33 Chevy Truck to play with. At age 65 I move real slow.

Keep us posted on your build. All Old Chevy's are Cool............ Jeff

he probably thought that he introduced himself in the wrong section.

    Nice car BTW

Not many survived because when they were set outside the wooden frames in the doors, etc. would rot.. that's a reason why we see a lot more of Henry's steel

From the pictures it looks like a great car. The wood in Chevy's prior to 37 was always a concern. If yours is good that is a big plus.
Check out similar cars to help with ideas. Most of all have fun with your build. The only one your really need to please is yourself.
