If he wants to ack up a 6cly rust bucket more power to him, If it was a Hemior max Wedge car id have an issue......He also has a pretty cool Dodge wagon (the blue one in the pics). That whole crew has "Cartoon Style Street Freaks" and thats what they call them not me!

Hey, he made "Hot Rod" didn't he?
Maybe this is what you call a
"Com-Post"! (Come to think of it, that may be where the bubble came from):D

That issue greeted me in the mail yesterday. When i found the page, my initial reaction was utter disgust. At first, it looked like a "donk". Then, as I read and looked at the rest of the pics, I figured the guy was looking for a Roth, mid 60's, show only shocker. If that's the case, he succeeded.

People who defend it will say, "He gets a lot of looks at car shows." Well, a lot of people stop to look at train wrecks. It doesn't make them cool, but this is kinda cool. In an odd way.

As a show/shock car, yea, good job. As a cruiser or street ride, it seems a waste of good talent. It's a mixture of 3 or 4 styles and that's hurting it.

This months issue made me glad I only paid $20 for 2 years and got a damn hat that doesn't fit well.

I really like the car and the fact that the club members all build 'em. Reminds me of the Zinger model car, Crazy Roth, Barris styles all rolled into one. And to do that with a couple of classic 'Vettes...

Not even gonna bother... Oh, and considering that Hot Rod has featured rat rods on what, 7 out of the last twelve covers?? I would consider making the cover a badge of shame, not honour...;)

Just realized how out of line that was, let me correct it.

Big article on that car in the new Hot Rod mag. IMO, waste of a bubble top, waste of a straight Plymouth, waste of a straight axle, waste of expensive magazine space.
    But hey...to each his own...
