Thanks! Yeah she sits up when I give her something to eat but rolls over, falls asleep, and starts farting when I rub her belly. She's great hahaha

Got the Cadillac rear bumper modified and mounted, new rear valance made, and mounting the Packard trim will be next. Nearing the finish line :)

Rob- looks great as usual- any finish pics of the pontiac grill in Georges 51? I thought it came out awesome.

Hey Rob, Very nice! Your eye for proportion and attention to detail is incredible!

I read through the entire thread, but didn't see what the dimensions were on the chop. And are the measurements vertically, or diagonally along the A-pillar and rear sail panel?

Also...I did't catch what year Caddy rear bumper that is. It fits the Merc really nice.

Thanks! That '51 Cadillac rear bumper was Lee's idea and I think it turned out great. It took a lot of trimming to fit the Merc body...along with some secret cutting on the middle section and guards to make it look right...very happy with the way it turned out. The chop is four inches, measured along the A pillar...I couldn't tell you on the rear amount because I eyeballed it :)

Making progress...frenched license plate and rear bumper finished, Packard trim mounted, and Lincoln lenses mocked up. Lee came by today and we decided on the final touches to the Lincoln lenses, so I should have them wrapped up this week :)

Got the Lincoln tail lights buttoned up...moved them down a bit after the initial mock-up.

Finished up the Cadillac rear bumper today after making some additional modifications to the ends- once the Lincoln tail lights were finished, there was a funny gap between the body and bumper and the only way to close it up correctly was to add to the bumper and redo the profile of the inside bumper edge. I welded some thick plating in and then trimmed it back, matching it to a template I made before taking it off of the car. It's all in the details :)
