So What do you guys think the coolest station wagons of all time are? For me the 57 Buick Caballero and the 57 olds fiesta top the list. Chopped 50 merc wagons are pretty bad ass as well. What else is out there??? Pix?

    Tri-Five Nomads, period.
The biggest mistake of my 50 years is selling my first car,a 55 Nomad back in 83 (people thought that 4k was too much for a decent running Nomad with a 327 and a 4 speed. Sold it for 1,700).

well, I loved 1975 Pinto Country Squire wagons, since I made one into a turbo model (couldn't afford the Stilleto 'glass nose), but that's not forum friendly...i'll add the Safaris b/c you just never see 'em. Tho I'll take ones from the late 60's just b/c you can make the front end a musclecar, and haul kids in the back end.

  8. Tri-five nomad (of course) but any long roof with 2-doors aint too bad!

  9. i like the 55-57 nomads and safaris the safaris a little more because of the rarity factor
i like the early vista cruisers and buick estates with the glass tops

and any of the hardtop 4 door wagons from the 50's

Eddie Hatch's red, blown 1957 Nomad is the pentultimate wagon for me. But that's just me, stuck in the 70's.

I have had a king size boner for a Nomad since high school that will last until the day they put me under. How many cars can you say were made in a wagon version that looks as sleek, classy and stylish as the coupes, and in my opinion even surpasses?

  20. I own two Safaris so I'm kind of predisposed to those but.....

My favorite wagon of all time is Sam Hollingsworth's 57 Nomad.
I've also had several Pinto Cruisin' Vans and a couple 60 Chevy sedan deliveries. A Mini Cooper Estate was kind of neat too.

There has been a 1959 Mercury wagon in the Hershey Car Corrall for the past 2 years that I'd buy if I had the money. Bob
