Come one! Keep the porn coming, buddy!

Did I ever mention how happy I am to see you running 94's? :D

  6. I've been following this build for a while, but I'm not sure that I've ever commented...

This chassis is almost too nice to put a body on :D

Looking forward to seeing it all come together.

Awesome. I just searched for this thread to re-read an old favorite and the updates were a pleasant surprise. Super stoked to see this car getting all shiny and stuff.

    Awsome car!

20 pages back I got speechless. 10 pages back my blood left my head so fast, I might have passed out.
But I'm okay, and waiting in patience for updates!!

Nice work! Living in a country with bad weather 70% of the time, I've never get why anybody wants to put White leather on the outside , but it looks good!

Ok So I've been clamping down on getting to a point where I can throw the body on and drive it to Roundup, so not a lot of pictures. And please be gentle. I'm rushing just to drive it, and will focus on Body and metal work after Roundup.

Moved the frame outside to clean the garage and took some pics in the light:

I used a DA and a lot of Hand sanding just to get the car in bare metal:

The firewall on this car was screwed. Someone at some point just hacked a hole in it. When I was getting it ready for the wedding I didnt have time to deal with it so I left it open.

Closed up the gaping hole and patched some areas. The keyhole looking thing on the left is where the coil top pops through the firewall. Need to move that up top.

There we go. Also patched where the two bolt thingies were up there. Now about that gas neck...

Yes I know it's with a Mig. I really want a Tig and I'm ready for that step but can't swing it quite yet.

Drilled the holes for the Gauges:

Been Collecting for a while, going to run Amp, Volt, Vac and Oil pres on the Firewall and Amp, Oil Pres, Water Temp, Vac, and Gas inside.

Just found these too, dude thought they were forklift gauges.

On the cowl there was this bullet hole:

About five minutes with a hammer and dolly and one little zap it was gone:

I dunno if you remember, but I had this 53 Ford dash. Well I found a pair of 54 Vicky door panels. Figured it might just work:

Cut them down and sorta tacked em in:

You can see they sorta do but sorta dont line up. This is gonna be fun:rolleyes:...

This is the other side and it's hard to tell but basically this picture is saying how much of a bitch this is gonna be :)

Some tweaking here and pulling there, and a little help from posterboard templates I got it all lined up

Now I have this night where I can't make alot of noise. Perfect time to polish a windshield frame. The little welds at the corners were a pain to get rid of.

And I need to make the swing out part work. I moved the studs down since the car is chopped and made these little brakets that screw to the frame. I have no idea how close to factory it is but it works for me.

So now finally for the first time ever I have a swing out windshield. Pretty excited about that!

I'm hoping to get a little more done before the body goes back on this week.

I've been away from really digging into the HAMB for a while, so I'm glad to see this at the top. Holy hell man, you're knocking it out! It's like the sibling of Livewire.

Walter is like Live Wire's little brother. I can honestly say that LW probably had the biggest influence on mine. Piero's like my big bro and when he brought LW to Austin and we tooled around in it it ruined me!
