The body on my 34 looks NOS compared to what you started with.What an amazing job.I am really glad to hear it will be Black.No one will believe it is the same car.

 

Don't really know why you in the US call my town Milan... can tell you that Cristoforo Colombo discovered America in 1492....don't know who this Cristobal Colon is...

some small updates. The fenders are finished, mounted to the body to check for fit.
The AMC 20 rear has been fitted with a 3.31 ratio, posistraction and one piece axle. Engine will be ready next week.
By mid march, doors and trunk lid should be finished...

What about calling Firenza "Florence"? Names are not supposed to be changed from language to language. By the way the Vikings were the first Europeans to "discover" North America about 500 years before that Italian working for the Spanish crown. And as far as dicovering anything the indigious people amy have something to say about that. Granted the europeans had flags and they did not! (If you have a flag you can claim a territory apparently.)

Nice metal and body work! also great to see you have the right transmission in it...a 4 speed!

 

283 and blower in a hot rod....what other trans would fit???? Only a 4 speed....

 

20 years ago I lived in southern France(near Marseille) and displayed my 32 roadster street rod in a car show at an auto museum near the French/Italian border .It was a Sunday and many Italians came across the border to the show.They went crazy when they saw my car.When they spoke to me they said it was impossible to have a car like that legally licensed in Italy.Have the rules changed?Will you be able to license the car in Italy?

 

It can be done...you usually license the car in Germany or Austria, where it's a lot easier, and then you transfer the plates into Italy. It's very expensive...but can be done. I got italian plates for all my rods...32 sedan, 35 3 W and 39 coupe

I watched this with interest, as my rust projects are '27 T's, (2 roadsters and a touring)
The '32 Three window is a much more difficult project, you have demonstrated that a project worth doing can be done! Congrats!

Been sometime since I droped in to see how you were doing.......It is looking great as I knew it would....You are the man. This has been a very interesting build to watch, someone with your skill levels save a body as bad as this one was a fun ride for me.

Great save, no one will ever believe it's the same car even with the photo. I would have left the rag top but the metal does help to strenghten that old body. Did you remember to prime under the fender tie bar (headlight bar)?
