The Five Finest Tail Lights of the 50s...

I like '55 Ford taillights with '56 Fairlane backup lights above them better than the Merc wagon taillights that people used to swap for.

 

I like '49-'50 Ford taillights a lot, too, better than the '51's.

My vote goes to 1949-1950-ford absolutely wins hands down cant get any better so leave em alone

Those look like they could be 53-54 Buick. Hard to tell for sure from the picture.

 

I thought maybe they were 53-54 buick but I think those are longer? I'll try to get a pic of them with the "cup" around them.

 

Mine measure roughly 2 1/2" tall and 4" across for the red ones and 2 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" across for the clear ones counting the chrome rings.
