Only the 35-48 front wishbones have the thicker bosses on top to support the spring perches and the car.

Clear pictures would probably get you a definitive answer.

I'll take pics tonight. So the bones I have are junk ? Can't really be used with a 32 application. Now that I have it all together. Right?

Def thicker at the bottom. But he also has to think about the axle boss spacing. Is is 2inches or 2.25? And the thicker side down is going to ensure proper caster angle . Or at least point you in the right direction.

I had the thicker boss on the bottom and the camber was in the wrong direction.I tried thicker boss on top just to see and it sits right .

Bones obviously not 33 as I was told. Are they still usable? I've used harpins in the past.

35-36 wishbones, the thick part goes on top. These later bones are why your perch bolts were too short.

    Harv,

Can I use them for what Im doing? You know what I'm building

  12. Yup 35-36 bones, 2" wide axle with hangers cut off. Same as the 32-34 bones but have the spring hangers cast in (They differ in overall length 32,33-34).

That's right. And those bones will be fine on your car...nothing wrong with them at all.

Ford went to the thicker top in '35 when they started hanging the spring out in front of the axle.

You can shave them down and re taper the hole.
    Keep in mind
35 and up wishbone is offset (at the axle end) for the tierod to go under … unlike 28 to 34 to run over.

Could these be used in a 50's style build?
