This terrible news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:( I mean I can remember when this building was a coffee shop. Bahooka came in from West Covina and made this Extremely cool place. Heck, it's where I drove my 34 Woody to when my Brother who just loved the Bali Hai (where our mom worked in the 60's) and Kelbos off of Pico in West L.A.

These places need to be saved, I know that we were successful in doing our Broiler, but with our community losing all of the places that we can eat at, we'll have nothing left. Hence the Reason for So-Cal Eats 1-2 which has this great place in it on Pg 74 with my Woody.

Chris Nichols calls this a funeral. It's just that bad. I've had many a birthday there and may just have one more last one. Guys, we have to take a stand!!!!!

Last March we @ The Broiler threw a Birthday Party for Living Legend Bill Hines. We had a very nice showing of Kustoms and of course their owners. Gene Winfield and Jr. Conway were in attendance as well as Brad Masterson, John D'Agostino, Pat "Too Tall" Ganahl.
We thought this year that these kars deserved their own kruise nite, so what a better way to start off the kruising season by giving these works of art a nite of neon & nutrition by hanging out under the canopy and chowing down @ The Broiler.

Please come join us for This Kustom Kruise Nite. We hope to see ya there starting March 1st!!!!!
    Sincerely, Jim, Adriene and Kevin

Don't forget, if you bring a rod or custom on weds,we'll be buying ya a shake/malt, only the driver gets one though. Also on Friday is our Legends of Kustoms Kruise. I'm hoping that George, our friend from Nor-Cal John D. will be there. The Chopits, Bill Hines & of course The Sacto Kid Bad Brad Masterson. That's really only a monthly deal so we're trying it out for the HAMBers who can't make out during the week, but want something to do after working all week, so why not give em a few legends???? Hope to see ya there!!!! Dusk till close.

Legends is gonna grow to be a great new cruise nite! We've been working to make this idea come to life for awhile now so c'mon out and join us!

Kevin and I spoke with John D' Agostino yesterday, he's coming down to help us launch the new cruise nite (thanks for all your help John). We're also honored to have the ChopIts and Brad Masterson as our special guests...and who knows? mystery guests are known to spontaneously show up...!

And extra special thanks to Fabian for designing a kustom flyer for us!

And this very familiar Bob's was at the south side of Broadway, east of Brand Bl. in Glendale.

    Thanks everyone, see you Friday!

Jim, Adriene and Myself along with Juicy Gee, Would like to thank John D'Agostino, George Barris,Bill Hines and Brad Masterson w/actress Candy (Debbie from AG) Clark for coming over to The Broiler and of course all of you that attended the Kick off Kruise of the season.
It was a great night to hang out and see every type of Kustom right down to a 50's LAFD fire truck!!!!!!! We didn't leave nearly midnite, that's when it ended

Bill Hines liked it so much that he wants to have his birthday here again like on the 23rd, so if you couldn't make it out last night make it out to Bill's party. This is just new in the works so we'll have more news to follow.
