I added some photos in an edit to my previous post. Bracket mounted down low to welded studs.

Your sedan is looking real good.

Thanks guys, I looked at your album.
I think I will do something similar.
I have to realize it may not look the best, but really it is how it should be.

I was also thinking of a 32 shell and insert for it and realized that even though I like the 32 shell and insert better. The stock A shell really is what it needs.

Here are some shots of the light / plate mount.
Its a bracket from a A pickup. I cut off an inch lor so behind the light mount and bent some pipe up that way I can keep it tight to the body and the wired will run thru it.

The flat bar is attached on the bottom of the rear bar if the car.
Wires are hidden and its completely removable.

This is the finished product after sandblasting was done

Yup, been fairly busy at work. I managed to get the new regulator in and mounted and pulled the other 3 out and cleaned them up.

I also started mounting the window channel kit for getting templates for glass.

Well I managed to get templates for the glass made out of 1/4 inch board.
Dropped them off at the glass guy.
Need to mount the voltage regulator, bleed the brakes, and I forgot to chop down the quarter window garnish moulding.

Fresh out of storage from an 85 year old gentleman. Runs like a top. Im thinking 16 inch wires for now.
When I really decide what to do with it ill do a thread.
