  4. Paul, I am a lifetime VW hater (family hand down....) but I like that Fiat. Great work.
    (Now I'm gonna' catch hell!)

praise in deed ...... I would love to have done it with V8 etc but it's real cheap the way it is and for the money have in it I could have bought a shit or bust V8 and had nowt left!!LOL

I have a tractor grill that I tried but the truck is too short and snub nosed to take it ....it just looks like I ran in to sumat!!...but I may fabricate a frame extender ...just want to get it all running and legal first

If I had one of those I would do it up like one that Marlin Perkins sat safely in while Jim jumped out to go face to face with a lion. No sense wimping out one of the most rugged assed rigs on the planet in the 60's before they became the darlings of the high end suv brigade.

I just picked up a 59 Rambler American. Haven't decided what to don with it yet. Was thinking Gasser but may custom.

I had a 60 rambler at one time. Was going to do something crazy with it tell I found that the whole car is pretty much just a rust bucket. Nothing was worth saving so I sold it to someone who can use the car.

hey Doc, how are you doing? Still giving them hell I hope! Keep your eyes peeled on here later on in the year. The front end of the kart is going to get Johnny Zupan-ised!

For many years, I've thought about dropping a sbf V8 into a Volvo 544, and mounting vintage mags.

This is bad but I have thought about turning a barracuda into a hot rod instead of a beginning year muscle car.

Fantastic idea!! I saw a black one years ago with a V-8 and American mags and it looked and sounded mean as hell!

Found a 63 jeep wagoneer online for under $1000.
I think if the body is in the right shape then pick it up and turn it into a sweet hot rod.

Still under progress, but little by little it's becoming a kustom I can drive every day even in winter. \,,/

I have an English 61 Ford Zephyr that would make a wild custom. Jim (55willys)

A friends '48 Vauxhall Velox. It was originally a more door with suicide front doors. Now a tudor and sitting on a modified 48 Chevy passenger car chassis. 350/400, 4 link Borg Warner 8" rear end, Mitsubishi IFS with R&P. Anglia sized car and engine bay. Vauxhall didn't produce tudors and body was either monocoque design or full chassis
