Here's mine.

Had it since 1977. Was my honeymoon car in '80. 327, Stick OD on the column. Black paint is original, bottom was repainted before I got it. It's been sitting in the corner of the shop for the past 20 years (there's a story behind that). Guess I need to get motivated and get it out for my 30th wedding anniversary.

 

Buy mine.......pleeeeeease.

 

Sold this to buy my 53.

 

That's really cool, roadracer. Good to see 55's being used in different ways. Be sure to post pictures when you get it going around the track.

 

This was taken in 1961 while at Sheppard AFB. Sold it in 63 to pay for lawer and traffic tickets to keep license, wonder where it is now?

Twenty-five year ownership, 427, 4-speed, 3.89 9", ladder bars, driveway paint job. Fifty-six Buick taillight lenses bought from Gene Winfield GNRS Oakland around '92.

I have 2 of them now

 

My grandpa bought 1955 chevy new , my dad drove it to high school an customized it , he showed it in the 60's kiel auditorium . He got it on the cover in nov.1962 Custom Rodder. He sold it mid 60's He saw it for sale at county speed shop St.Louis Mo in the 70's He lost track of it after that..I just thought it would be nice to find .And take some pic's to show my dad that it's still around. Anybody see this 55 around any leads can help.

Here is my "Field Car" or ex drag car 1955, 150 Sedan. If you were standing close and looking hard you can see the toil that the sins of drag racing have put on the body and frame. Now minus the flip front end, Giant Magneto, ladder bars, cut out fenderwells, etc. Abandoned in a field for years.
