Event Coverage 2013 Texas Thaw - Denton, Texas

That's right, boys and girls, we have a big plan to kick off the '13 Vintage Drag Racing season off, in grand style.
March 1 & 2, 2013, NorthStar Dragway in Denton, Texas.
You can come drag race whatever the hell ya wanna come down with. Considering it is a 'Pre-'73'. Won't matter the engine/tires/stock/blown/injected/4-banger, we WILL have a class for you.
Don't want to get all the water and tire rubber on your fenders, fine, we have a car show for you to enter. But you will regret not making a pass, trust me.
Friday night, will be fun and grudge night. Drag you buds tail out to the 'tree', and show him who the 'winner', really is. We will also have our traditional pit party going on, too.
Saturday, plan on racing all day long, and bustin' your tail for a SUPER-COOL/HAND-PINSTRIPED/PISTON CLASS TROPHY. I know you can't wait.

Ya know, we tried the minibikes one year, and only had 2. So we really hadn't done anything with them, since.

I'm trying to make it....my daughter is moving that weekend...we'll see. One of my favorite shows...but only if it's blowing about 40mph and 35 degrees. Course that only happened once.

 

We have some killer weather on order for the 2nd.........

 

Thanks Ken....hope I'm not enjoying the weather while moving my Daughter. Hopefully she'll have enough young un's to help and this old guy won't have to.
