I'm almost positive I got it from The Hot Rod Company. They are an Alliance vendor and were easy to work with and have nice stuff!

Thanks I'm trying! Got the frame in epoxy primer this past weekend and started doing some mud work. Now comes the slow part...

Been doing a lot of that tedious sanding and body work. That work has finally paid off though. Got the frame, rearend housing, and a few small pieces painted. Here are some pictures...

Thanks your little truck is looking good as always. When you set your 3x2s up, where did you get your base plates, linkage, parts, etc?

Note yet, been gathering a few parts as we go and working on my newer stuff that pays for my shop and parts as I find them.
I just picked up a rust free 64 Ford short box I am going to paint and sell for build money later this summer. Someday!

Got backing plates for 9 inch drilled. Nothing eccentric, but what I think will go with the rest of the car and not look too gawdy. Also, finally got the green on something so I can really see what it looks like. I think it'll look good with the off white I've got the chassis. Green is Quaker State fleet green and the white is called Vanilla Shake, so I think I'm gonna call this car Quaker Shake. Heres a few pics...

    Both are drilled now...

I have to say I do like my color combination! Also decided to go glossy on the body as this thing is just turning out way nicer than I first intended. Here's a couple pictures of the radiator shell with some of that slick paint!

Thanks for all the kind words. This thing has been a long ways in the making. It feels good to see it coming together so nicely and I definitely can't wait to drive the wheels off of it! Speaking of wheels, I was thinking chrome reverse with blackwall bias plys. What do you guys think?

    Thomas,

Checked out your website. Sweet bikes! I have an 82 Kawi KZ440 bobber out I ride around when it's warm. Nothing nice, but fun to play with. One of these days I wanna build a XS650 or CB750, or maybe both! Keep it up!

    Ben,

Awesome is all I can say. Been watching since I saw your mock-up and the stance is perfect. I'm gonna copy a lot of this build. Cant wait to see it done.
