Ok here are some pre-65 Nascar Cup cars from the vintage races at Sears Point in 2012. The 46 car was driven originally by Bill Maine I believe, the 26 is a former Curtis Turner and I think the 28 is an ex Freddy Lorenzen car

The Chevy is the real deal. The two Fords are replicas.

The number 46 is Roy Mayne. He was a carear Air Force man. His rank was Tech Sergent or E6.. He was mostly stationed at shaw air force base .............................He always managed to get leave/ passes to be off work. After retirement he went to work for the STP corp as a field rep at the races. While at the big tracks he would slip off and attend locaal short track races. Mostly NASCAR sactioned. I know he passed away some years ago....................... In his early days he raced a 34 ford 322 cu in flathead powered with Hilborn injectors.. The last I saw the chevy was in Royston Ga and a man named smith had it.

No, they were not. Any car that was new then '65 I did not down load. All the race cars at this event are restored originals.

Here's a few more from the Sonoma Historics 2012, sorry I don't know if these are replicas or actual restore projects

Don't know who originally drove the 3 car bit the 11 was Ned Jarrett and the 28 Fred Lorenzon, the 28 from yesterday was actually being depicted as an ex Dan Gurney car

Then it must have been part of the glitch Ryan talked about in post 5762.

Please repost the pics, if you can.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well I'm not having any luck right now trying to repost my pictures. Must be there's still a glitch in the system that Ryan was speaking of.

    Trick,

That;s a fine looking '63 Fairlane from Windsor Speedway. Like the off set hood scoop. I just tried to up load a '63 Galaxy I took at the reunion, but no go.
