Well folks, no more BadLuck 52.....Introducing..."Kiwi Krush" My 1952 Hardtop Belair..

After 7 years, I'm finally closing in on the end of this build. I just need to do my interior and chop my vent windows. Here's some pictures of my debut at the Grand National Roadster Show, Suede Palace.. I want to thank Alex for the "Gambino Kustoms" award, and also the Lords Car Club for their club pick.. truly an honor guys. Thanks to Axle and his wife for organizing this event. What a great place to hang out with friends and meet new ones.. Met a few HAMBers there this weekend as well...and finally a huge thanks to my fellow brothers from the Sentinels car club..and our brother car club.. Low Down Kustoms for the help and support.

I'd also like to thank everybody here on the HAMB for the overwhelming support you have given me throughout my build.. Meant a lot to me, and helped keep me motivated.. This was my first build and my first body and paint job. All done in a driveway in the middle of the desert! I hope it inspired alot of guys to go ahead do the same with their rides.. no bigger satisfaction than doing it yourself :)

Here's some pics from this weekend... I decided to also post a few earlier pics of my build so you can see my 6 year journey, and the different stages of my car. Thanks again guys, CJ.

Ditto on the congrats. I do believe it was worthy of the awards. One of the nicest chops for this particular model I have seen. You nailed it. The sublte but major changes really turns the clock back for me. Outstanding build!

Great job on the car and the perfect color for it. I think it is also one of the most photographed by Hambers cars in the show as I've seen it in almost every photo coverage of the show on here.

    Congrats.

Again beautiful car bro. My inspiration for when I start my project. No better feeling knowing YOU built it from the ground up.

WTF. Give the guy credit where credit is due, you will notice other painted cars there also. In addition the Suede Palace theme is for traditional owner built cars and not never driven trailer queens.

This car deserves the awards it got and the owner, I am sure is proud of them.

Excellent Car. I saved the photo of it in black primer in the driveway years ago, but did not know it was the same one.
