Maybe once I get to another piece I have to polish , it's a lot of sanding sanding and sanding and then polishing it on the buffer , it's very time consuming , I bet I have 6 hours in bringing back that Mallory , and about the same in the starter

so monday update time again , so in the last two weeks i managed to finally fugar out where im going to put the battery , its crazy because a big as this car is im running out of room to put things, also i made a battery box , mounted the battery , put the front end back on well inner fenders and core support , my brother came over and helped sand blasted a bunch of parts and i got them in primer.

See if I got this straight . . . stand the battery on end in front of the right front tire inside the wheel well? Jesus Cody, that is some serious outside-the-box thinking! Seriously cool!

The battery is actually vertical , it's a small batter that's the only place I could find lol

Now you're going to be like the NASCAR guys and have to take the tire off to change the battery, that will take at least 45 seconds, you could go a lap down.;)...Jim

Cody, aren't you worried about leakage from the battery if it's on the side? I know that modern dry/gel batteries are more resistant and don't leak like the old ones did, but I'd still be concerned about a freak accident destroying all that hard work and unique metal.

I take it the wheel well isn't deep enough to fit the battery in 'upside up' ?

PS superb work as usual. I'm still in love with your wagon.

Clearly, upon examination of the picture of the exposed battery, the terminals (+&-)are pointed toward the sky.
