Jack - you can just go back and delete the second one.

Here's one with local (to me) interest. Land Rovers are made here in Solihull. I'll scout around for some more old ones.

    another:

Experimental tractor - never got past the prototype stage - I never knew about this one.

And one last one featuring Winston Churchill.

I'll make that the last as they're not very hot-roddy.

    Mart.

This looks like the motel used in the movie Officer and a Gigolo with Richard Gere

  11. The motel they used was in Port Townsend, WA - it is still there.

  12. We love the San Juans, I learned how to walk on Orcas. My grandparents honeymooned there, then rented a house on Lake Washington for $15 a month.

  13. I'm pretty sure, they built the second span alongside of it (not sure when). There is a huge debate going on about replacing it (and I'm sure who's going to pay for it).

I believe this is on the White River on Ark. Highway 1. This ferry was in operation until the early 80's and it still looked this way until the bridge was the start of the bridge and new road.

I'd hate to have to change a flat on this puppy, spare location is for 'Charles Atlas' or 'Superman'
