Art & Inspiration 1/18/13 friday art show

I made this lamp and clock for an upcoming silent auction fundraiser. The lamp was an "upcycled" desk lamp and a '57 Caddy floor speaker grille. The clock is a Corvair speedo set into a '48 Chevy hubcap - all parts (except the battery) were made in the USA.

 

Dan, your photo work always is always impressive. Corvette Bob, love that work.

Love these Dan! I can't wait to see your shots from this year. While the cars in the last shot aren't exactly my cup of tea, teh colors and way you did it are outstanding!

 

So to pass time when your not doing your exceptional art work, you doodle? Hmmmm!

 

Thank you Rob! I tried to include a variety of all the different rides that show up. A very large part of what I end up taking shots of is more determined by how good of a shot I can get of the car, more so than the car itself.

I really enjoy a Friday stroll through the HAMB Art Gallery. Here's my humble contribution, a cartoon tribute commissioned by friends Ken and Chris as they were in 1981 and now to commemorate their years together along with their 55.
