Planning to start some kandy and graphics on my own uni, looking forward to your posts on how you did it, to confirm if im doing it the right or wrong way! HA!

  7. pffft....if I was half as cool as you...well, never mind...

Hey homie, the magenta/pink looking stuff....is it pink, or some bastardization of the apple, or? The whole thing is off the hook. Poor Helen....she should be wearing that coat of many colors :(

    thanks guys
i'm hoping on working on the step by step this weekend some time.

the magenta is magenta,we used it on the center hood pieces and by its self on the fan on the center council. its also used as a top coat over violet candy on the roof fans.

    thanks.

i wish i could afford the gas, hotels etc to make that happen.

Just unbelievable. I've looked through your build from start to "finish" more than I'd like to admit, each time, I walk away shaking my head in disbelief. How can one single person have so much talent, is amazing. You're like a one person: Design, Frame, Body, Customizing, Paint, Eectrical SHOP! Did I miss anything?

Pinstripe and Airbrush artist! (Kinda different from Paint)

Ryno- don't you get sick of masking and airbrushing the same stuf over and over? I would think you'd want to do all this in batches, so you don't have to wait all day in between candies and whatnot! You have more patience than I when it comes to masking and waiting, thats a fact!

thanks dude. you need to get me the t shirt sizes so i can send them out.

    thank you!
out side shots will be soon. i bought it back to my shop today so i can finish up some stuff over the weekend.

thank you for the good words and im glad you enjoyed the thread so far.
i think you nailed it! other then good looking, but that may be subjective.

its easier to get stuff done once everything is set up.
the new style intercoat clears dry supper fast, especially doing this style of fogging with candies. most the panels are dry in about 10-15 mins. you have more time in taping and design layout then spraying. having a kick ass cross flow booth that is heated helps a lot too!

outside pics soon, and i have a nice surprise in store for you guys soon too!
the hood is a 2011 camaro. the art work was done by jason and ramon from b st paint works. it is a 69 camaro eating a mustang. detail is amazing. ill snap another pic next week of it. it was done for a art show, and did not sale, so it hangs in the shop now.

how long do the candies last being mixed before they "spoil"?

Looks super awesome. Looks kinda like an acid trip while walking through Wonkaland!!!

left them in the mixing cups for a few days, if anything they will skin over a little, just add some reducer, that stuff evaporates quickly, and spray away. id say after about a week or so they'd start to set up and be useless.

thanks homles. see ya in a couple months?

The stripe look good. The color is right on. This is soo fun to watch come together. Some day I will play with paint like this. Right now I don't have anything to put paint on, some day....
