Lets see some pictures of Louvered Model A's. Looking for some ideas and like to see what people have came up with. Deck lids, and lower panel below deck lid would be great. Painted or non Painted doesn't matter lets see them. What size you used would be great. Ive read that the common size is 3" inches.
I do Model "A"s with my 2 1/2" louver mostly. I have done sedan rear panels but I can't find a picture right off the top of my head. Most decklids I do have rows of 25, and doing the lower panel to match is no big deal at all. I am currently working on one that will feature six rows so that it will match the hood of the car as well. I'll post some better picts later.
Here is mine with paint and in its current form without paint. It is aluminum. I think it makes a big change to the look of the car. You can't really tell in the picture but with the unpainted look I changed the hinges to stainless and polished them and the latches up. I'd say the rounded style louver's look really good, just my opinion. All the pics have been great so far. Thanks for all the pics so far guys. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
some people like them, some peopel don't, but i love louvers. If you need them done, have chip do them. (need louvers?) here on the hamb.
I've got the old style round louvers in my hood and the flatter ones on my deck lid.I just like the flat ones in the back seems to not look like a hedgehog with needles in its back that way
