Looks short. Is it the picture or is it smaller than your typical 50s yank?

    It's cool, gonna buy it?

  8. What's that behind it that looks like a '56 Plymouth turned into a pickup truck?

Edit: Okay, fin is on the ID car, but it still looks like a wagon turned pickup back there.

Thanks for the ideas leads. Googling around

Simca Aronde looks kinda similar but have yet to find anything that's a definite match.

It's a pretty small car, I would think its European but it definitly has a late 50's American look to it. (at least in my mind)

I think the car behind it was a Ranchero? can't recall.. need to go get more pictures I guess. the car had a trim with a name of model? on it but I can't remember, I took the pictures back in November.

The body side trim and the rear quarter window are throwing me!.

I don't need any more projects but if the price was right I could see saving it. if there is anything left to save! it's been sitting in the mud for a long time from the looks of it.

put a sbc in it and wheely bars and make a drag car out of it!!! lol just kidding

Goliath was one of Carl C F Borgward's 4 car companies.

    Borgward, Hansa, Lloyd, and Goliath.

I've seen the Coupe as a Goliath Hansa 1100 Coupe as well.

    Very short production run.
( only 2 years or so)

Must be a very rare car...

Wonder what it is worth all rusted out as I'm sure it is. Bet that back glass would be impossible to find! Googling I still haven't found one that looks exactly like this one.
I'll have to get more pictures and see if they'll take $400 for it! :p (I'm sure thats more than double scrap price...)

    Thanks again

Put a Subaru WRX engine in that puppy. Did you notice that the engine is hug from the same fixture that carries the front transverse leaf spring and there is a steering rack mounted to the firewall. Original engineis an 1100, so a turbo 2 liter flat 4 would kick it up a notch or two.
