Hi guys! Looking forward to building this hotrod for the collection. Got it from a 50 year old lady. It belonged to her dad. Even showed me a pic of her dad with the car in 1961! Needs a bit weld here and there, and bit of spit and polish...but she'll be on the road one day. I live in Wisconsin and had to drive to north carolina to get it. Just at the bottom of the Appalachians. From this little adventure..the car got the name Ford Appalachian Tiger Cat! Well, thats what we told one person..lol.. Probably going to do a high boy out of it. Hoping to have my two year old son give a helping hand. Keep the hot rod blood in the family!
Looks like the rust has had its way with the lady. Never fear, Brookville makes every panel to get her right again. Frank
I will keep you all posted on progress! got the fenders off now. need to finish the 30 pickup first, then really dig into it. this will be my first ford flat head v8 install!
I had the same thought , but on reconsideration he did not say she was an "old" lady just that she was a "50 year old "lady.
