Vintage shots from days gone by!

The family 57 out and about. To this day if you ask my sisters about this car you will here the tale of returning from a family road trip and the car sprung a fuel leak at the tank quite aways from home. My dad had everybody in the car chew a big wad of gum, put it all together as a patch and it held until they got home.

What a surprise! I know this picture and these men. The kid on the bonnet of the '34 ford 1-1/2 ton, (leftmost) is my Granpa!
The truck belongs to his brothers, later all four brothers founded a transportation company which was in business for 60 years.
These fellows hauled gravel for road work in middle of 30's in my home village.
