Hmmmm. Where in Warshington are you? I have a couple spare 4 cylinders with 5 speeds that might work better than the six....if you want to go that way....I'm in Pasco.

sorry that i haven't updated this thread recently due to new job and the holiday season. But i did get some motivation in a box for X-Mas...

im out of Bonney Lake. That is pretty tempting. Ill keep that in mind because theres a little asshole in my head that is telling me to be more traditional and put some kind of flathead in it.

Iam hunting down some running gear for it, spindles, juice brakes etc. I want to get everything to make it a roller.

I did find another 24 T down in Auburn at the Ford dealership that i can take measurements off of.:D

    UPDATE!

Got a steal of a deal on a late 30 ford front end and got it tacked up for mock up and lobbed the doors off. :D

Thinking about running a different cowl just so itll be that much easier to run a windshield.

Cool Build. Whats the plans for the body? Are you going to section it, or lower the belt line down? Give it a less boxy look?

JJ and i have been trying to figure it out. Its literally all tacked together so we could move it outta the shop. Im thinking of taking 8 inches from behind the door to shorten the body, then dropping the belt line 6-8 inches as well. Maybe a channel job too.

So belt line lowered, took some of the space behind the door out, and extended the wheelbase..

    You need more cut out...
Use the Roach Rod as a model and use masking tape to get a nice profile image on your car before you do any cutting.

Good work! Keep it up and keep your eyes out for another A frame cheap and local for me.

  23. I will be watching this build. Cut the height out of the doors & I agree on the sweep up to the back section.

Im sorry ive been neglecting my build thread. I havent been neglecting my build though. ive been collecting parts for it left and right. Right now im just waiting on someone to get back from Vegas so i can throw a front spring under it and have it roll without being welded straight on.

The reason ive been stay away from this thread is because my build has gone into a different direction....

I bought a fiberglass 27 T roadster. It was a deal i couldnt pass up.

The 24 will still stay around unless i can sell it back to the original person i bought it from, or if funds get too tight.
