Back when the average Joe could get off work, head out to the garage and build a highly competetive car.

The garage they used, their mindset, and the tools they used to work on that car in the film seriously made me stop and re-think my tool buying habit.

Definately a Sunday-morning-real-loud-on-surround-sound-while-the wife-and-kids-are-at-church movie!!!!!!

Not trying to beat this thread to death but does anyone know the name of the Canned Heat tune that keeps repeating and closes the flick. Been searching for it on Grooveshark but an't find a title.

 

It's a remake of big road blues with drag racing lyrics in it you can find it but it's not exactly the same as the song in the movie
