I saw that, never could find it on my own, and I looked for it quite a bit. Good to finally see it.

  6. It's an honor to be able to quote such a well worded, right on, totally clear statement as this. You ought to win something, like the Nobel Prize For Setting Things Straight! :)

  15. Yipes! 70? Really? Hmmmm.... How'd that happen?

As I said on my Facebook site a few days ago, when I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth, and I looked in the mirror, I was sort of stunned... nothing bad, just surprised. I realized at that moment that when I'm sharing and chatting on Facebook, I've been doing it from the mindset of me back in my 20's! :)

"Re-appearing" has made me young again... or at least while I'm online... LOL!

I wish the same for all of the hot rodders from back in the day, and I hope that I'm sort of helping that happen :)

    All The Best!

  16. Hey... the few negative, inappropriate comments aren't YOUR fault... are they? It's not YOUR fault... is it? No... not at all. Thanks anyway very much, and thanks for the compliment. I'm glad that you like it.

Let me think... do I wish that I had it back? Hmmmm... based on all that's transpired between then and now, I'm VERY pleased that it's been where it is... protected all this time. I hope he and I can work something out so that he gets to restore it like he's been wanting to all these years, and we can tour with it together. Time will tell.

    Thanks for asking.

    All The Best!

I have been following this thread for a long time, And I have to admit I am on the fence As to if you really are who you say you are or not, However I am taking the bait either way, As I want this to be true, And if not! All I am out is a little bit of my time. I have read all your post since you have been here, I also went back and re-read all the post from "elvis" Both yours and his way of writing is very similar, But I guess it is fair to say that could be because both of you are around the same age. You do have to admit that it is a little hard to believe that the car is in cali in some shop, of a builder who does high end builds and No other hamb member has ever seen it. Because You can bet that if one of our members knew where it was they would have already started a find thread on it, And we would all know about it. Anyhow Steve, If this turns out to be a bunch of bullshit, Then I guess you can be proud to tell your grandchildren You fooled "Cowtown Speed Shop".....LOL.......Also I sure wish I still had my model Kit of your car, As it looks like you got a Nice chunk of change out of the one you just sold on epay. see you on facebook

Okay... here's the rest of the story about NOT BEING ABLE to autograph Jeff’s model kit and Original Color Prints!

When I did a nosedive into my solid lava rock driveway with a thin layer of sharp small cinder stones on it, I landed on my right eyebrow, but mostly on my right hand, wrist and forearm. I hit so hard that it jammed my humerus bone up into the ball, shattering the ball. Note the orange slice pieces sticking out!

The pain from my broken shoulder was intense... but NOTHING like the pain in my hand, wrist and forearm, because that force jammed the sharp small cinder stones so hard into them, that they were like hamburger inside!

This is what my right hand looked like... FOUR WEEKS LATER... after the swelling had gone down a lot! I couldn’t use it until about 6 weeks. Since then I’ve been flexing my fingers often, every day. I was able to type comfortably after about 10-12 weeks. I’ve always had poor, chicken scrawling handwriting, but it has been terrible ever since. And recently, starting about a month ago, my fingers started locking up while writing. No problem. I just “pushed” thru. It looked messy, but I could read it. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem for just autographs, but I was wrong. Only about 2 out of 10 tries were smooth. I got lucky when I signed Mark Moriarity’s Original Color Print, but it still isn’t as good as I’d like. For Jeff’s model kit box wrapper, NO WAY was I going to take a chance of maybe ruining it... with a PERMANENT SILVER ink!

One of the side effects of the bad blood pressure medicine has been that other muscles and joints not only were getting more and more painful, they were locking up more and more. I was VERY concerned that I was getting a super-fast case of arthritis. That was proved wrong when I went to a specialist. He said that I don’t have “rhuma” anything, that it’s something else. Such a relief!

As the side effects of the bad blood pressure medicine have been getting less and less, I’ve been able to write more easily. Yea! This morning I thought my fingers were loose enough to sign Jeff’s box wrapper and other Original Color Prints, but when I was testing the Silver pens that I bought, it still wasn’t good enough.

I got a flash about an hour ago! No... not a “hot flash”! I remembered LONG ago when my left shoulder did a similar thing. The physical therapist said that it was a simple case of very treatable osteoarthritis... a calcification she called it. She had me do stretching exercises, then apply heat, then cold, then heat, then cold, lifting and stretching my shoulder between each. It worked! So, I started doing that with my right hand, and I can already feel a difference! Let’s see how it is in the morning. My... crunchy... fingers are crossed for good luck!

I may not know what an alligator sounds like, but I sure know a CROCK when I hear it!

According to the actuarial tables the average male lifespan is 75.6 years... Lets see... Steve just turned 70. This thread has already been around for 6 years or so.... Does anyone really think that this guy can produce a current picure of this car in his (or my) lifetime?
Its no surprise that "Steve Scott" is trying to move this conversation to facebook, The domain of 13 year old girls and nerdy basement dwellers. If you ask him to prove anything he can just "unfriend" you.
As for me, I'm still looking to find a current pic of the Uncertain T.

I wish I could understand and feel all the hoopla about these 'shock and awe' type cartoonish cars. I just don't get it. My loss I suppose.

Facebook friend count? Is that a way to show business partners that the car/ideas have a strong following? I mean, why not post the info on the world's biggest and BEST hotrod and customs forum; right here on the HAMB!

    Am I cynical? Yup.

Out of mostly intrigue I added the guy on fb. All he does is complain about how many emails he is getting and how injured he constantly is, meanwhile doing very important things like testing 9 different kinds of autographing pens... No wonder this guys life is in shambles.

^^ Wow, those last two posts reek of intelligence  ^^

  25. I find it funny & ironic people posting on this thread are bitching about how facebook is all about people bitching & acting like bitchy little school girls. I am seeing the exact thing on this thread

Steve is 70 now, aren't people that age allowed to complain about their body?

The photos Steve has posted on FB are clear evidence (for me anyway) he is in fact the Steve Scott who built the "Uncertain T" albeit a Steve Scott 47 years older. The suggestion the Steve Scott posting here isn't the real deal & is in fact a con man, I think is a con.

Steve said the Uncertain T was owned by a friend who has it stored at his Northern California retirement vineyard property. How is this less plausible than the Uncertain T being in the wilds of Canada?

    What's so hard to believe?

An example, I know where there is a '27 T coupe on '32 rails a friend has owned since 1957 and was built in 1947 by a So-Cal local who went on to start a well known aftermarket driveline company. Just because the general hot rodding community doesn't know where it is and photos aren't freely shared of the car, does't make the car non-existant!

I firmly believe what Steve has told us that a friend of his owns the Uncertain T.

I dont understand this either. I only drive old cars and its amazing how often people approach with the angry attitude and DEMAND that I sell them my car.

so just because you dont like it the thread should get closed down, don't ruin it for the reast of the people that do, and are looking forward to it's resurface if it ever does,

theres alot of people out there that don't like what i build and i'm sure yours as well.
just do what you should do when desperate housewifes comes on and turn the channel.........

as for some more on the T.

if its not the real Steve Scott, then he just opened himself up to a lot of criminal activity by charging for "signed" pics and shipping them thru the mail.... just sayin, george

    (quote from his page)

Prices and How To Order My Signed Photos:

All Photos of “The Uncertain-T” and me are $10 each, plus $6 mailing per order to the USA. All of them are signed by me. They are 8-1/2” x 11”, NOT 8” x 10”.

Hey, I am not stirring the pot. I'm really not. Looking at the history and years involved, I simply made an assessment of the scenerio; and besides, since when does a personal opinion on such a situation influence another's actions or beliefs on the Hamb?
