Never been there but planning on going this year.

 

I'll be bringing my coupe upstairs. First time for an indoor show for me. Any advice?

The Lead Kings are driving their cars to Detroit and showing downstairs. I"ll have an 8 hr drive from northern Ontario in my 55, hope the weather holds up. Autorama should be a blast!

i applied to have my truck in but have not heard yet. I'll be there weather the truck gets in or not

 

Original plan was to go last year for the 1st time, but didn't workout. Definitely want to check it out this year...don't know if bringing my truck.

 

Can't wait.......Detroit and Hershey, are a yearly must do for me!!!

 

Keep your stanchions down to about one foot high and if you get your carpet from the supplier (renter) make sure you ask for one without holes.
The one they gave me was crap and the replacement was not much better.

The coupe got dropped off on Friday for paint, should have it back early/mid February.

Used to make it a yearly trip with a busload and sometimes two busloads of guys from our car club in New York. Turned out to be a lot of work for the organizers and the transportation costs kept going up. Last year a few of us shared driving in my truck. Plan on doing the same thing again this year. Booked our hotel last week.
My son lives north of Detriot so he joins us and we have a good time. Great place to see some awesome rides and always good for some creative ideas for our own projects.

I'll be there again this year working with our dealership display of GM Performance Parts. That is unless I hit the Lotto before then!

Last year I think I had about two hours free time all weekend so I didn't get much time to see anything. But I did spend at least half of that time downstairs.

 

Planning on being there the whole weekend. Should be a blast as always.

 

I'm going,this will be my 3rd show.Don't go out downtown after dark! Seriously,I've been there.Downtown is a little unsafe after the sun goes down.
