Cool, is that a new body or out of someone's stash?

You can't fault the guy for trying, that he didn't offer a big pile of spare change to even the deal up a bit isn't that cool though unless his bucket body is hell for nice and finished out.
I think that the majority of us have had someone offer an off the wall trade for something we have over the year. It goes with the territory.

I'd have to keep the Fiat though as I've always liked those and tried to make a deal on one a few years ago.

Been trying to buy a Topolino from a guy for 10 yrs now. They are bad ass, no way I'd trade for a bucket.

Hmmmm, I reckon there's no question to it - keep the Toppy, but I guess you'd already come to that conclusion anyway.

Any more questions while we're here??? Like, should I build the Fiat? (Yes) Should I make a build thread while I'm building the Fiat? (Yes) Should I make the Toppy FAST? (Hell Yes!!!) Blown (Yes)

We're wating for any mroe questions you may have.

Ask him if he'll do the trade for the crate your Topolino body came in.

I know... its not much of a crate.

But he doesnt seem to concerned about making a fair trade.

  22. You probably should have Googled Fiat Topolino before making a silly comment :D

  23. Not a great swap for you, but for him it's like turning lead into gold -

  27. A t bucket used to be entry level hot rodding. A topy on the other hand is grown up machine.

That said while I believe that a '27 T makes a better candidate, a '23 T could be used to build a slick track nosed roadster, or one awsome altered.

Topo's trump T buckets big time. Sounds like some of that crazy barter shit on CL.

Ex: "Trade my '98 (insert POS here) for nice pre '72 yada yada..., no junk!"

    WTF are these people on?

    What he said!!

  30. Kind of depends on what you are going to do with it. A Topo makes a pretty cramped, uncomfortable street driven Hot Rod, unless you are Billy Barty or Wee Man. For a Drag car, they are killer.
