Really nice work and great looking car, definitely one of my favorite builds on the board.

Trimming and butt welding the pan in like that is one of the nicer ways I've seen something like this done. How are you handling the underside, where the factory piece originally bolted

    Thanks

Thanks a lot for the kind words.

    Thank you guys

Thanks a lot scott. I will be capping the underside of the pan with sheet metal and will be welded in smooth where the original piece bolted to. Gonna wait till i throw the body into the rotisserie as it will be easier than lying underneath.

Did you tuck the read bumper in closer to the trunk? If so, how did you do that without having the trunk lid hit the bumper.

I am not sure where my bumper is located in regards to the factory bumper and splash pan. I just fit my pontiac bumper to where it worked with both the trunk opening and where my tail lights were gonna be fitted for everything to flow.

Some good progress today on the car. I fabricated and tacked in some bumper termination pieces on thursday. Here are some pictures from then.

Today I formed up the center section where it would radius down behind the bumper and flow behind the two bumper ends near the license plate. It is also following the radius of the trunk so everything works.

A few pictures with the bumper on the car. Still not sure what I am gonna do at the bottom but will leave it for a bit and decide later on what should happen there.

You know who else had a beard? Jesus Christ - you have a lot of welding to do! lookin BOSS as usual, I envy your time you have available to spend on your automobile! Looks like you have about a week in welding to finish up! Keep it up!

Thanks dude, measure twice, patience and lots of practice.

Got your rendering framed and in my pool room. Everyone is blown away by how amazing it is!

    Thanks

Thanks and same back at your, I love your attention to detail.

I used trailer fenders, got mine from etrailer.com

Finished up welding the back end of the car today, should have it all ground and hammered tomorrow. My company gives us two weeks paid holidays at xmas and im making the best of it. Its cold up here in BC so im keeping my face toasty with my beard.

Thanks dude, it all flowed together perfectly.

    Thanks man
