Yeah, Jim & Cotton were a force to be reckoned with in the late '70s.I ran a L/G VW powered Fiat & knocked heads with them several times always on the losing end.We raced them one night at Brainered dragstrip, ran .36 under our index & Cotton won by a half fender.Jim was a great friend, he helped me a lot even though we were competitors. The day of his funeral you could'nt have put on a race within 300 miles of Ringgold, all the racers were there. I'm proud to say Jim Headrick was my friend.
Who is the owner of the two Hudson's in post #175? That is nothing less than Hudson porn. Love the engine's. Hud
Yup, he ran Chevies before switching to the crossflow Ford in the third pic. He still races, along with his son. I see him at Indy Div. III e.t. finals. I think he is racing David Majors in the last photo, also in a Boss-headed Ford 300. Two BAAAD Motorscooters!
that's about all I have for now, gonna do some more research later. Thanks again R W, Sixgun,Mopar Man
