Where's the pics? Don't you have anything better to do on Christmas Day than dig out a car? HaHa :)

While we were planning the loading of the car, we started noticing the NO Trespassing signs in a few of the pictures, so we are going to determine ownership before we load the car. The NO Trespassing signs are on the land adjacent to the arroyo that the car is in, while the arroyo appears to be state land. Updates to follow.

Here's a link to a short video I uploaded of another deserted in the desert from about the same time frame. http://youtu.be/nqvvuhyRk8E

I hope the undeerground part is not all rusted out. A similar post found most of the car gone below the dirt line.

  23. For those who missed this post looking for updates.... it may take some time to determine who owns it.

  24. I'd just like to see whats left of the part that was buried. I live in the high desert and have a Friend that goes prospecting with a metal detector, The soil here is pumice and lacks acid so it's surprising how good some of the old tin he digs up looks.

Why would you even dig it out if you didn't have permission to do so by the land owner. I would think that would come first. If not now you dug it up so that they can sell it. All that work for nothing? Just sayin...
