Thanks for posting this pic, It is really cool, I would love to see more pics if you have them, It's funny even though I live only about 2 miles away, I have not seen larry in a few years. He is a great guy, And when I was younger and into camaros heavy, He would always help me out when I needed hard to find parts. there was about a 6-8 year period when it seemed like he would not sell any first gen camaro parts to anyone, But he always helped me out when I needed something. He had so much good stuff, I remember calling him one day asking about a Cowl induction hood and he asked what color I needed?..LOL

P.S I dig the keystones and hauler also.

In the early-mid '60's I lived near Berwyn & drove by his shop often: Does anyone remember the "Iron Mouse" series cars that were regularly parked outside while waiting for 'attention' from the master? "Jiggs" was a cult hero (& even 'consulted' by some) to the local H.S. 'motorheads' no matter what 'brand' they favored!

There'll never be another guy that will come close to accomplishing what Bill did.
He was "the man" when it came to 327's and 4 speeds.

  10. The one thing that I never got to do was go to a race event and watch my high school hero. This man was one amazing guy with all that he accomplished in his life time. RIP in Peace BJ

I was lucky enough to watch Bill run his Pro Stock Vega at Portland International Raceway about 1971-72, and IIRC it was his first Vega, I was still in high school so I thought I had hit the big time.
Due to old age and CRS I don't recall the details of the race, but I do remember this vividly; as he was waiting in the staging lane I was standing near the rear of the car and noticed one of the rear deck pin clips was not in place so I walked up to get a closer look and Bill noticed me looking and came from the front of the car, I told him about the pin and all he said was DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT KID.
    Boy did I feel special.

Bought a t-shirt off the Grump around '77 at the Springs in Columbus. He got that name honest!

  18. I saw his car in the paddock and seen him running the Camaro but I've never met him personally.
