    Ok i'll try again different pics what are these bumper pieces from,,,,originaly they where nickel plated I liked them and chromed theme. Swap meet mystery. after.JPG

    I don't know what they are,home made ? Cut down from something? But you didn't have to start a whole new thread....could have added to the other thread, haha.

    They could have been bumper over riders that fit on some model of car. Maybe even an aftermarket thing in the mid 30's. Going to the parts house and buying shiny doo dads to stick on your car came long before Autozone's chrome doodad row did.

    I haven't called anybody dude since the 70's when I owned a camaro,,,,straight up we are planning a road trip what are the chances of getting in one of the state parks in jan with no reservation

    Those are bumper guards from the 30s-50s. You'll see them in old JC Whitney catalogs, Warshawsky, and other regional aftermarket accessory parts catalogs through the 3 decades above.
