Once again you did another nice, clean build. Very sanitary. What did you do for motor mounts on the 302? Stock radiator?
Color sanded the 15 year old paint and doesnt look to shabby...all new side glass including the anti rattle kit and also installed the speedway cheapy aluminum radiator. Anyone know where i can get the door handle pins and the pins/springs for the window wings?
Check out Classic Haulers they have the gear for your wing windows.. Looking like a little bling with the Rad.. The paint looking real fine.. Classic haulers 877-252-1948 What Mc did you use? Thanks
Thanks. the Rad is a cheapy so if it blings I guess that's extra bonus ha although I did paint the front. The master clynder is the 67 mustang style
I would change anything, but I think you should find the F-O-R-D letters that go on the hood. Maybe also get someone to letter the tailgate the same way. GREAT TRUCK MAN...... buds chuck
Hey for your wing window parts and other door parts you could always try this place I use called "John's House". Ha!
Man, 302's are just ugly! Mine came out of a van too! But I wasnt smart enough to find one that ran... I really like the simple approach and thanks for the pics.
Why? Cause I don't have any shitty colored wires? They look just like a SBC except dizzy location. I wanted it stock looking and clean. Got to enjoy it a while..., Going back under the knife..fuck a c4 it's AOD time, plus a front end rebuild and new wheels.
I have a set of beat to hell doors that I found in the woods when we moved to my house here. If you cant find what you need for the windows I can send you my stuff. Pm me if you want pictures.
Awesome truck but I am really diggin the area that you live in. Those are some awesome old buildings! Ever think of throwing some stocker hub caps on it?
So Doctor you got it under the Knife so whats up with the new Wheels? Can we get a little looksey?? Man it would be hard to do what you are doing after all the work you did to get the truck to this stage. Man it would be hard not to keep driving..Great Job!! Hope mine turns out 1/2 as good as you ride!!
You're going to dig the AOD. I had an 289 with an aod in my 56. That truck would cruise at 80, it was awesome.
I'm curious about moving the rear spring perch, is that something that needs to be done too?im about to start cutting my 51 up but not sure if that needs to be moved to.thanks for helping
