What's your dream Flathead Intake ??

Flathead people, if you could have any intake manifold on your Flathead what would it be ?? Thickstun/Tattersfield, Eddie Myers, Edmunds, Fenton, Sharp, Edlebrock, Offenhauser ??

I'VE GOT A THICKSTUN PM-7.BUT I WOULD LOVE A NAVARRO 4X2 SOMEDAY.JUST NEED SOME SERIOUS ENGINE WORK TO RUN THAT SUM BITCH ON THE ROAD.

my "dream" one would be one that requires no tuning, only one carb but acted like a multi-carb, would require no fuel pressure regulating, no leaks, and would stay looking like raw aluminum forever.....

but I'd take an Eddie Meyer 8ba, just because I like the way they look.

 

I love the 2&3 carb setup but I'm going to go 4 bbl.Whatever I can fade that works.

 

Im about 900 bucks short

 

Any of them...... I'm using an Offy 2x2 on my 8BA.

Eight or so years ago, I found and purchased a vintage Offy three-deuce which was nailed to a garage wall. Running it on my 8BA, so Lady Luck was with me. I'll call it carmen. . .or is it karma? Whatever, it's mine.

 

I'll be running an Edelbrock 'Super-Dual' on my 8-BA. That manifold has always looked so good to me. Performs well too. Got one at LARS for 100 bucks.

I've got an 8-BA with Eddie Meyer heads. However, the intake is a Fenton with 3 97's on it. I wish I could trade for an Eddie Meyer intake!

 

I have a Mitchell blower intake on a 289ci 4-71 blown 8BA, 2x Thickstun PM7's but I deally would love a Jin Lattin 4x2 on a big cube FH.

I just LOVE the way they look !! Tuning would be a PITA imo.

Love the Edelbrock Slingshots too !!

 

I built a blower manifold for a flat motor from a 4bbl and added a billet plate to the top for a 4-71. It worked great and I could do another one to go with a polished 4-71 that I have extra.

 

Sorry to burst your bubble here but Navarro never made a 4 X 2 intake manifold. Barney Navarro always thought that he could make a 3 X 2 intake outperform a 4 X 2 and you know he could be right.

A Frenzel supercharger would be pretty cool.
