Finally managed to get some pictures downloaded of this weeks progress, Monday the wife thought we were going to look at a new customer for our business and we ended up suprising her with the start of her chop.

Jay suggested having her help with the removal, was a very exciting part of the chop

I love this angle of the car, just flows. I cant thank Jay enough for making this major step. Several years ago we starting talking about getting this car going and after a few obstacles we are now moving along.

You should really add some pics of your ute up on one of the mopar threads, it would blow a lot of these guys away.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, its difficult to get the roof to flow right on one of these but yours coming along nicely and makes me want to get stuck back into my build.

I don't know if it's my eyes, but i see a little flat point in the middle of the roof, just above the b pillar location  not wanted to be anal, just a little help if i can :D

Zed, There is a piece of tape marking the center line of the roof at the b pillar... Is that what you see? Or do you see a dip, or low spot in the center? I will check it today with a long level. Thanks for the extra eyes...

I think it's the tape that's throwing the eyes off, because i thought the same thing, but you didn't touch the roof through the center so there should be no reason for it to be flattened out. Plus without the post re-attached, the shadows are playing some funny tricks and the area in front of the b-pillar looks like it's got a more aggressive rearward slope than the area behind the b-pillar, again, which should be possible given that you haven't modified that area. It's just the picture playin tricks.

Cool build. I have a 54 and love it, will definitely keep watching this!

i see a flat spot where the green tape is, and as Dart say, i asked if it's only me because it can be an optical illusion

You guys are the best! I played a game this morning with a 36" level... As Dart said, we did nothing to the middle... It hads to be the tape and the tree in the back ground... The roof line is as clean as it was in '54... I will be back on this on Monday... I will roll it back out and post more pics...
