Saying goodbye to old friends...........

Have decided to retire my computer to the trash heap due to way too many problems with it.Won't be getting another as they are too much of a pain.
Have enjoyed posting on here and talking with old friends and meeting new ones but it is time to move on.
This post will probably drop out of sight rather quickly so take care to those of you who read this and have a Merry Christmas.

Bet within 3 months you are buying another one.........these things are addictive !

Last couple I have bought were remans from the local computer discount store , Comp USA. About $ 200 and you get a new tower, keyboard, and mouse, just use your old monitor as they never really go bad. They work every bit as good as a brand new one and with all the viruses I get I can just toss one after a few years and buy another one cheap.

Just a thought.

Love my morning fix of Hamb, and eggs. Great stuff. I'm not computer savy, can't post pics, but I have friends that keep mine going.

The newer a computer is the better it is...faster and less likely to give trouble.

I gave up on the H.am.b once too. IT WAS THE WORST 20MINUTES OF MY LIFE!
just get a powerbook or a tablet and hang around.

Do you have all the reinstallation CD's?? If you do all you need to do is format (erase everything and start over) your computer and reinstall the software. You will be starting at ground zero but that's where you started when you bought it. Formatting will wipe out all the problems in your registry where I suspect your problem is at. I just did to my old computer and I am setting it up in the shop and trying to set up a wireless network so I can have access to the internet while I am out there without coming into the house.

 

Aw, come on, nobody likes a quitter!
