A work of art! Everything on the car fits so well together. Wouldn't change a thing.

I have a new respect for sedans now. Love the detail on the hood around the steering arm.

Holy Smokes! I appreciate all the kind words and encouragement! Although its not on the road just yet, the end is near. I started this project 3 yrs ago and due to other obligations I only have about 1 yrs build time into it. I am more than happy to see it at the state it's in at this point. I'd like to thank Flathead Pete for posting pics as dealing with computers is not my high card and I'm okee dokee with that!

  21. Your car looks super, Kirk.

So......next question.......what's the story on the coupe in the background??

The coupe in the background is a friend's 37' Buick that I am helping finish. He bought the car about 4 yrs ago as a cobbled up streetrod. He went to have the car redone. The hotrod shop he took it to disassembled the car, had the body blasted then split with his $$$$. He had the chassis finished by someone else which got delivered to me when it was done. I got a disassembled body that was in the weather for 2 yrs in bare metal with no floor. I had it sandblasted, fabbed up a subframe/floor while channeling it 5", hung the doors etc. etc. Now its on to finishing it to driver status. I suppose that I have a hard time saying no!
