  10. Well at first they think they have me figured out, but they don't like me, then they get to know me and swear that they do not understand me. That way back then that way now and will probably still be that way when I am taking a dirt nap.

  11. According to a history book on real life radio dj's, Dr. Johnny Fever was based on a DJ named "Skinny" Bobby Harper at WQXI/790 in Atlanta, Georgia (in 1968).

    And while were at it, how about the movie, (and subsequent hit song) FM. The hit song was done by Steely Dan (and 10 extra points if you know what "Steely Dan" means.
    It starred;
    Michael Brandon as Jeff Dugan
    Eileen Brennan as Mother
    Alex Karras as Doc (Holiday)
    Cleavon Little as Prince of Darkness
    Martin Mull as Eric Swan
    Cassie Yates as Laura Coe
    James Keach as Lt. Reach
    Linda Ronstadt
    Jimmy Buffet

    Many say the movie was the basis for WKRP. The movie was based on the real life radio station KMET, The Mighty Met, the greatest Rock N Roll station that ever lived - WhooYa (LA folks will know what that means)

    ION brand USB turntable available at WallyMart = $69.00
    This thing is great, I have been converting all my old Albums to digital format with this, and onto CDs, as it comes with the software included.

    In '75 my friends and I were kitbashing model cars in the then-current Street Freak style, taller than they were wide - more often than not taller than they were long.

  29. You both are correct, with HRP getting the deisreable 10 points for being the first :D
