There have been a few threads about, and I think some of us may have had cars in the movie "Gila" I have chatted with the producer and am passing on his request to you to help get this flick released. The first step they want to take is to get it broadcast on "Syfy" chanel, If you could email Syfy to request the movie it would help.. or in Canada "Space" chanel Heres a link to the story. http://www.bmovienation.com/?p=5443 Sorry it's kinda OT but it's as much a hotrod movie as anything.
Haha, I watched the youtube clip. I think that may be enough for me. I would have to watch it alone anyway....no way the wife would watch 90 minutes of that. I can't hardly get her to watch B movies. Maybe the kid and I would watch it sometime. Funny stuff. Put up the SyFy e-mail address so we can copy/paste it and send them a request.
Ask and ye shall recieve... [email protected] On behalf of all Hot rod and monster freaks i thank you In canada [email protected]

I'd watch it, I love movies like this, so bad they're good. Just don't take them seriously. "Let's go huntin' lizards". Classic!
The original is on Youtube. This is a remake. at least the music is better lol! I'm hoping there will be no "And the Lord said dance children dance..." You have to embrace the cheese my friends. check out the cars and the hooter.. I mean the Cars!
Come on guys, since when weren't hot rod movies just a little bit cheesy? Even AG had it's moments. This is entertaining, and lest we forget, that's what movies are all about. How many cheesy flicks did you pay good money to go to the drive in to NOT see?
I didn't say I don't like cheese. Velveeta doesn't have that much cheese in it anyways. Yes, in the true vain of most Hot Rod movies this one earns it's "B" rating...
Wait a minute. Don Sullivan - the original Chase Winstead - and Kelli Maroney from Night of the Comet are in it? I'm there! Besides it's nice to see a Midwestern-set film actually shot in the U.S. Midwest instead of Southern California (usually with mountains in the background) or Canada.
Looks like it might be good for a few yuks, which I think was clearly the intent. I'd give it a shot.
Terry Davis (Knox) who plays the cop (his close-up is shown in the trailer above) is an acquaintance of mine from Richland, WA. He was Golden Gloves champion in WA for a couple of years. Nice guy and he's been in a lot of movies.
