Aaron, continue to build what you want.

    Big chop,quickchange,lots of louvers,six carbs,32 horns,dash full of gauges.

You have the style in your head, build that "Hot Rod"

    Good luck friend!!!! Bob

Bob, I am still leaning towards mild chop, 4 inch channel with a flathead and T5. Stop in the next time you are driving by on I-72.

I have the frame mostly welded up now, just gotta figure out where the rear crossmember needs to be.

I have been distracted by this Rudy truck that I slapped together. I need to get it out of the way and get back on the '34 this winter. I have listed my Vicky in the classifieds so maybe an injection of cash will get me back going on the '34 since my home remodeling projects are all done now.

  16. I am a Chevy guy, a purist at heart, but it would be tough for me to pull and change up that combo, that car has history....why not just do a rebuilt, do all the mechanicals, do the interior, leave the body as is or simply clean and satin clear it

Because it was a total piece of shit, that is why. There wasn't one usable piece of mechanical equipment on that car.

I redid the frame that was under the '34 when I got it and built a "Rudy Truck" out of it. I hope to get back on the '34 this winter some. I am going to finish the Rudy Truck first though. I need a new beater since I traded my '32 Vicky for the Corvette.

Slammed, you must be stalking me on facebook since you found that pic of my girlfriend....

Time to bring this thread out of retirement I guess. I cleaned up the garage and it is time to get going on the '34 again. I stole yngrodders frame table and set up my suspension components in it.

Here are some updated pics. Been working on it here and there. Got the motor mounts and radiator mounts done. Got a new Brassworks radiator but forgot to get my Alliance discount. Well worth the money, that thing is like a piece of art.
