Hey Pete, great idea - Thom told me about the Hot Rod Homecoming - sounds very cool. After our trip in August I came home and came across the issue of Hot Rod with the Worlds Fastest Rusto Rod on the cover - "C'mon Rick, you gotta get the car done for it!?" If I were closer I would come by and give you a hand....

ok people we need to give Rick a break here....i think he's been working on the E&B sedan

24/7. And he is going to shock us all and show up at the Mooneyes event on dec. 8th.

What else could it be? vacationing? off-roading? naw . He's finishing the car !!!

 

Dunno, stopped by his shop last night and today and same sign in the window...,

 

Took a chance and stopped by today on the way to Texas and Rick was there doing his day job, So he is not sleeping under a louver press , but is talking about gearing up to do the assembly now.

Tio Geo stopped by the other day after the Mooneyes event and hung out while I was finishing the prep on the frame. I'm ready to spray on the next warm day. I hope I didn't wait to long and miss out on all the good days. What am I thinking, this is SoCal almost all the days are good.

According to Pete, I don't have a choice!!! As long as I get it painted in the next week or so, we should not have a problem. I'm sure when we get closer I will be asking for help from those who would like to help on the project. Any volunteers???

I'm calling everyone's bluff. I need help scuffing the body to get it ready to prime and I will be here all day Saturday doing it either with you or without you. With you would be my preference.
