1929 model A sedan winter project

    Just getting started on my winter project.. Bought the sedan in late summer.. 6" chop, 5" extended wheelbase on 3" kick-up frame.. I love starting new model A projects....

    Wow...not surehow I missed this! I love those tail lights on there! You work fast, this should be interesting. I'm looking foreward to seeing this one around!

    I know your cars always turn out great, so I'm not doubting you.... but why the extra 5" in the wheelbase?

    I'm pretty sure a longer wheelbase will give him a better ride.

    Yea BIG-JIM, I do think it will help the ride plus with the chop and full hood I think it will make it look longer and lower.. Thanks for the other comments too...

    Made some nerf bars and fooling around with the hub caps and different headlights...

    Sorry, no frame pics.. 3" rear kick and spring behind front, mounted on wishbones.. 108 1/2" wheel base...

    Oh, and wanted to se the chassi so bad ;) are you using stock rear spring and no drop at the springmounts on the axle?
    Im building a tudor to, and going to built it with high stance and the body have already got an 7" chop. Love this "look" /martin

    HRPunk, I'm using a 46 front spring on a spring behind axle set up for the rear..

    Bitchin! I'd really like to leave the fenders off of mine, but they are in such good shape, it's hard not too. I'm with you on the 28-9 A's. Looking at buying another 28 sedan local.
