A friend of mine dropped off a Chevy Classics 2012 Annual with a 1971 picture of my '57 in it (see post 1627).
So stoked to have a little more of the cars history!

Why not? If it represents mid sixties or later the noses were lower. I could photoshop the nose high, late '50s-early '60s look if you want.:D

Shouldn't be too hard to achieve that look with taller springs, or at most a straight axle setup. Both were "correct" back then.

Thanks guys. It's coming along. Since these pics were taken i've re-arched the springs, drilled the front axle and rebuilt it with new king pins and bushings. Hopefully I'll be able to have some cash saved up after the holidays for the blower and steering box ( i'm thinging vega box) The motor is a 327 out of a '63 vette bored .040 over, balanced and blueprinted. ..trans is a race prepped turbo 400. The rear end is a 9 inch i've been picking at....4.88 gears with a posi....almost ready to put that in. Defintaley a fun project so far. Never built a car before so it's pretty cool just looking at vintage pics and looking at other builds...then throwing my own twist at it

    R. Seghi... your ride looks pretty sweet man. Perfect stance!

Funny how changing the color of the windows really changes the appearance of the car and gives it that "old school" look. Looks great.
