Hey, Rik -- Are you planning on using the photo I sent
you for your book? My nephew wants to know if you
are going to make him world famous. LOL
(He referred to the photo as when he was a dork.)
Best of Luck with your book.

Another tease photo on my Jack Stewart Ford Book. Despite the title, this book is about a lot more than just the Jack Stewart 1941 Ford. This photo shows one of the many pages devoted to other interesting Custom Cars. The second owner of the Jack Stewart 1941 Ford, Jim Skonzakes (aka Street) owned several other very interesting Custom Cars. One of them was a 1949 Buick convertible which was partly built at the Barris Shop. This photo "shows" the page of the book were the early version of this car is show. The book contains several very nice and never before published color photos of this car, both in its early Tokay Beige color and its later dark Purple and lavender color. The photo taken from the loose print proof pages does not show to much... thats why its a tease!

And this photo shows a part of one of the many great mid 1950's photos of the Jack Stewart Ford (and other cars) from the Bob Drake Collection.

My Jack Stewart Ford book is almost ready now. The binder is working on them since last week and will get the first run to me next week Monday. I have the website for the publishing company Kustom Kar Books up and running and I'm ready to take on PRE-Orders.
If you want your book to arrive before Christmas I advise you to pre-order the book now. Then I will prepare the shipping and once the books arrive next week I will just put the books in and off to the postoffice as fast as possible. Of course I cannot guarantee before Christmas delivery, since I cannot control the Postal Services, but with a 2-3 week delivery advice from the Postal Service I say there is a very good change it will work.
I hope everybody will enjoy the book as much as I do.

For those who want to have the book signed by me. I have created an option for this once you get to the "buy it now" Click on "book options"
The Jack Stewart Ford Book can be ordered here: www.kustomkarbooks.com

Ordered / paid. Congratulations for doing what a lot of people talk about -- writing a book about something they are passionate about -- and actually doing it and following it through to completion. Hopefully you have great success with this book and maybe one day we might see more on another great custom?

Another update on the status of the book.

The books are on their way. Today they will be delivered at Palle Johansen's place.
I will be driving up to Palle in Denmark to pick them up and drive them back to the Kustom Kar Books headquarters.
I will start shipping the books that have been ordered so far on Monday.
Thanks for all of you who have ordered the book so far. Looking forward to hear what you think of it when you get them in the mail.
