I couldnt decide so I have them both built the coupe in the early 80's have had the 55 for around 8 years ,gonna finish it this year after i finish up my chevy II
I thought that would ruffle more feathers. You're a Milner nut, of course you call bullshit. It is what it is. That film is pretty accurate, and inspired tons of people. I still think that 32 looks wrong. Doesn't mean I don't respect what it is. Why is my avatar bring a chuckle? That's My '29, MR FORD's '31, and Von Franco's '32 in front of the church on my wedding day. I think it's pretty fucking awesome.
Why is my avatar bring a chuckle? That's My '29 [/QUOTE] Well... you said the Milner Coupe woulda been laughed off the HAMB. I thought we were talking about funny lookin' cars.
55 all the way, the burn out leaving toad at the light did it for me at a young age! Besides all that sexy metal on that 5 and it still stuck it to that deuce, what'a call that color anyway?!
For those interested in seeing one of the original 55 Two Lane BT cars http://www.museum.nhra.com/apcm/templates/news.asp?articleid=44496&zoneid=47
Milner and the car were the end of the breed. the living legend. Falfa was the first of the Gold Chainers that lead to the muscle car years. the movie was a history lesson. That piss yellow ford is the winner by a mile
One without the other is like peanut butter without jelly.........I can't decide............I just can't.......ahhhhhhh! But............I am a lil' partial to my 55's.
Both the 55 and the 32 were great cars and if I had to pick one, it would be the 32. If the choice was any car in the movie, it sure would be the chopped Merc that the Pharoh's were in!
Brian Setzer of the Stray Cats bought it and had nothing but trouble with it!It broke down so much he had to sell it!
pretty soon we are going to be debating, if they used the right camera equipment while shooting the movie! jeesh
