Amazing what a new set of rims and tires do for "the look"

Changed my rims and tires on the 32 from the wires and white walls to steelies and blackwalls.
Sure does change the look!

Its the elimination of the dayglo green.
You went from clown shoes to dress shoes and it looks 1000 times better.

 

Good move, color and type. The steelies and all black look more serious business, less decoration.

 

I'm a sucker for the white walls but the black walls make it look more like a traditional hot rod My opinion

Both look good in their own way - the clown shoes (nice one 31 Vicky) would look good in another colour - the combo of mega-whitewalls plus bright dayglo green are certainly dazzling and the steelies and blackwalls make a complete contrast.
Both look good, but the deuce roadster certainly helps.
Still smiling at clowns shoes.

I've heard it said that when it comes to style, its the shoes that make or break the suit... I wouldn't know about that But, I do know what I like and I know cool when I see it I really think your car is cool and I like it a lot! It is amazing how much different it looks with the new shoes I'd want to keep all the wheels and tires in case you ever want to change your shoes for different occasions ...robber

 

Been for sale for a little while now - it was suggested by a few that the wheels were part of the issue. Worth a shot I guess.

 

The car looks good either way...but the blacks are more appropriate!

I like the new look better too although the old look was great.

Amazing what a small change in wheels will do for a car.

I once had a yellow 27 roadster with black tires,black steelies and baby moons, and bought some K-mart cheap trim rings to dress it up for sale......ended up liking the look so much I kept the car for another year before offering for sale!!

 

Looks good, hopefully you took advantage of the outstanding weather today and took it out for a spin

I'm a sucker for triple black like 3W Larry, but the green wires with WWW looked good too. Can't beat the black though. Clown shoes. Funny.
